Performances: As Tina Jay I sing and perform, specialising in the "Golden Oldies" era, popular tunes from the 50s and 60s, but I also go right through to the 70s depending on my audience and any requests. My performance is suited for a mature audience who likes to have fun, perhaps reminisce a little - and a good singalong! I also provide singing telegrams - surprise doorstep singing visits for birthdays, anniversaries and elderly loved ones — especially meaningful for those unable to travel or living alone.

The Steady Voice: My regular performances for the elderly have made me realise that music and songs are so important to make us happier, more jolly and even sad - but in a good way. I also realised that I have been using music and songs to listen to deliberately for many years to improve, re-set or stabilise my own psychological wellbeing; but know that the benefits of listening to music and songs as a "therapeutic tool" are grossly underestimated and therefore underused. This led me to the creation of an exclusive song library which I called The Steady Voice. It is designed for women who are undergoing or planning to make life changes and would like to use the power of listening to inspiring music to elevate their self-belief, self-worth and readiness for empowered action.
